- Works great - just connect outer pins to XTAL, inner pin to GND

This ceramic resonator works exactly as described.
The outer pins of the resonator connect to the XTAL pins on your processor, while the center pin connects to ground.
Please note that this ceramic resonator is 16 MHz +/- 0.5%. This is perfectly satisfactory for most uses (the Arduino Uno uses a similar resonator), but is not suitable for projects requiring high-precision timing (e.g. those communicating over USB). For such projects a crystal oscillator and some external capacitors would be necessary. (Posted on 04/06/2014)
