Details
Need an easy remote control? With this set with an Infrared-LED (TX, Transmitter) and a photodiode (RX, Receiver), you already can add a remote control your project.
It's very easy to setup:
- Connect the anode (+) of your photodiode (that's the black one) with Ground
- Connec the cathode (-) of your photodiode to an input-pin of your microprocessor
- Add a pull-up-resistor (f.ex. 10k) between the cathode and VCC - or just enable the internal pull-up on your microprocessor
- Connect the IR-LED just like any other LED (f.ex. with an 300Ohm resistor to 5V)
The input-pin of your microprocessor is 'high' now. Once the photodiode receives a infrared light from the IR-diode, the input goes low. The range of those diodes is, under perfect conditions and setup, up to 7 meters.
The LED-voltage is 1.2V - 1.5V
This set contains 5 Transmitters and 5 Receivers.
