Crazy Circuits Blink/Fade Board

A pre programmed micro controller designed to work in a brick or conductive sewing based environment. Use it to add blinking and fading effects to your project without any programing.

Like all of our Crazy Circuits components this controller is soldered to a small circuit board with large brick sized holes in it. The overall PCB size is the same as a 3x4 brick component. The part is designed to connect to other components in a brick based environment using our 1/8th inch wide Maker Tape.

This part can also be used with Conductive Thread for use in Soft Circuits. Just sew through the large copper plated holes to make your circuit. For quick testing you can also use alligator clips to connect this controller to other components.

This controller is designed to work with 3V of power such as found coming out of a CR2032 battery or a 2 AA/ 2 AAA battery holder. Once Power and Ground are connected you can wire an LED to any of the numbered pins. Pins 1 & 2 slowly fade. Pin 3 blinks at a fast rate, while Pins 4 and 5 alternate blinking. You can wire up LEDs, or multpul LEDs, to each pin. Just keep in mind that a CR2032 battery will only power 2-3 LEDs and if you're powering more you'll need to use a more power battery source.
