EL Tape 10mm / Yellow / One Meter
Availability: Currently out of stock
Electroluminescent Tape (often abbreviated to EL Tape) is a thin copper wire coated in a phosphor which glows when an alternating current is applied to it. It can be used in a wide variety of applications - vehicle and/or structure decoration, safety and emergency lighting, toys, clothing etc. - much as rope light or Christmas lights are often used. Unlike these types of strand lights, EL Tape is not a series of points, but produces an unbroken line of visible light.
It looks a lot like a thin flexible neon tube.
They come in many bright colors and can be driven pretty easily with an inverter.
Our tapes are 14mm in width (10mm are illuminated) and 1 meter in length.
We ship the cable without a JST-SM connector – so they can be plugged directly into our series of inverters.
