EL Wire 2.3mm / Yellow-Green / per Meter

Electroluminescent wire (often abbreviated to EL wire) is a thin copper wire coated in a phosphor which glows when an alternating current is applied to it. It can be used in a wide variety of applications - vehicle and/or structure decoration, safety and emergency lighting, toys, clothing etc. - much as rope light or Christmas lights are often used. Unlike these types of strand lights, EL wire is not a series of points, but produces a 360 degree unbroken line of visible light. Its thin diameter makes it flexible and ideal for use in a variety of applications such as clothing or costumes. It looks a lot like a thin flexible neon tube.

They come in many bright colors and can be driven pretty easily with an inverter.

Our wires are 2.3mm in diameter and you can order them by the meter. Just put in f.ex. 2 pcs. and you will get one cable of 2 meters.

We ship the EL Wire without a cable or connector – it's easy to solder your own cable and connector (check the accessoires on our page).

Our Inverters work perfectly with the JST-SM cable.
