ICs können ohne Kraftaufwand oder Werkzeug gewechselt und mit dem Hebel fixiert werden – ideal überall dort, wo ICs oft gewechselt werden müssen (Testboards, Eprom-Brenner etc.).
Durch die schmale Unterteilung in der Sockel Mitte können sowohl breite (0.6") sowie schmale (0.3") ICs gesteckt werden.
