The new WS2813 (Neopixel) - now with backup data line! Strip of 1 meter with 60 individually controllable RGB-LED

The WS2813 are the successors of the popular WS2811/WS2812/WS2812/WS2812B Neopixel RGB LED. As with its predecessors, each LED can be addressed individually; only one pin is needed for control. Each LED now has a backup data line. This way the string continues to function normally even after a defective pixel - indispensable especially for larger installations!

As usual, each LED can be addressed individually with a 24-bit RGB value, the data speed is at 800Kpbs.

The connection now has 4 pins (VCC, GND, DI (Data-In), BI (Backup-In), whereby the backup does not necessarily have to be occupied - the first LED then does this automatically. This means that the WS2813 is fully compatible with its predecessors, no new software or library is needed.

The LEDs must be supplied with 5V, the maximum power consumption of this 1 meter strip is 18 watts (all RGB on white, full power).  The LEDs are provided with a waterproof cover according to IP65 - if this is not required, it can simply be removed with a knife.

If you need shorter strips, you can cut the string after each LED - there are extra soldering points between each LED.

Note: The desired length of your strip is soldered out of a roll - your strip can therefore be from the beginning, the middle or the end of a roll - depending on where we have soldered out your piece. When ordering 4 meters you get a whole roll with JST 4-pin connectors (start and end)
